2 cm!

Yes, that's right...as of last Thursday, I was 2 cm dilated. Doc says I'm progressing nicely and she's very pleased. My blood pressure is back to normal, perhaps due to the lack of work stress and despite the normal discomforts of pregnancy, I'm doing well. =) My hands now swell at night and I've got Frankenstein fingers in the morning that hurt and don't bend. Hehe, I brush my teeth with a very awkward grip on my toothbrush =). The fingers bend after about an hour. Dr. Lee has assured me all of this weirdness will go away after Cora's arrival, which she predicts won't be before her due date this Saturday. I may miss feeling her move inside of me...but I don't think I'll miss much else! Next check-up is on Friday...will she make it that long?
