I have fallen miserably behind in my blogging of the fantasticness that has been our summer. So, we begin with our most recent trip to La Jolla. One relaxing week in the city of perfect weather cannot be beat and Cora seemed to have enjoyed our trip immensely. =)
Day 1: Getting settled and exploring! =)
Cora sure made herself at home in our condo by the beach.
Day 2: Sea World!!
Cora was a great navigator...guess where she pointed us to first?
That's right! The Elmo's Flying Fish ride in Sesame Place. I especially love that they have chosen the chicken Elmo fish =).
Cora refers to this as "Abby's ride spinning"...we rode it a few times =)

Then it was off to meet Elmo and Ernie. While she looks rather skeptical here, she was really excited and actually gave Elmo a hug! She usually cries and clings on for dear life to one of us when approached by anything in a giant furry costume =)

We couldn't pass up the chance for an overpriced face painting on Cora's arm. This awesome dolphin also is full of sparkles which Cora promptly shared with mommy and daddy.
The turtles were amazing for both Cora and us.
We couldn't leave without meeting Shamu...in costume and...
...in the flesh =)
Back at the condo and time to build some of the cool things we saw today!
