Of all the things in the world Matt could choose for his birthday, he choose a beach day. Really, he wanted to take Cora on a canoe or kayak...so we headed to the Newport Back Bay. We pretty much packed the whole house and in the end it was worth it because look at those smiles =).
Matt spent a lot of time setting up our beach camp for us while we played on the playground with Avery in the super amazing Lillebaby. By the time everything was ready for relaxing and sand castle building, that's all Cora wanted to do (and swim in the super calm waters). Hehe, plans with kids change all the time and Matt never got his boat ride, but he was happy with his pick =). Going to the beach is a lot of work, going to the beach with a 2 month old and Cora is exhausting...but I'm glad we didn't let that stop us from an awesome experience.
For my birthday, I wanted to sleep and stay home ;) Life has certainly changed...for the better =)
